    No, i would not forgive Captain Smith for ignoring the warnings and not decreasing his speed when the passengers were hollering at him saying "ICEBURGS ICEBURGS!!!!" He took thousands of peoples lifes...he doesnt deserve to be forgiven, not saying he should die and go to hell or anything just saying he took alot of innocent lifes including young children. Also, if he would have listened to them in the first place maybe this whole Titanic incident wouldnt even of happened. He could have or MAYBE could have prevented it.

Pity? No.

No, I dont think he deserves pity, because he was a Nazi and killed alot of innocent Jews. "The dying man held his hand in front of his bandaged eyes if he wanted to banish the picture from his mind." By him going around killing innocent people, no. I dont think he deserves pity because thats not right nor fair to the ones who had to go through the pain and suffering of death. Also, i do not think that the Nazi deserves pity from ANYONE because he killed innocent people and noone deserves to die when their innocent. "Then from the other windows fell burning bodies...We shot...Oh God!" There are dead bodies falling from the windows when he doesnt even know who they are or what they have done to deserve that pain. He is just a bad person that needs to suffer the pain he has put other innocent people thru.

Forgiveness

I think everyone deserves forgiveness, no matter what they have done, or what sin they have made. I picked to talk about how forgiveness is given when a teenager takes her/her life. I can compare to this with my personal life because my best friend took her life about 8 months ago and it still seems impossible to believe. I think God will forgive whoever decides to take their life, because why would he make you suffer more than you already were that made you take your own life in the first place, exactly. He wouldnt, God loves all of us and has a plan for everyone, when its your time to stand before him, he will wash away your sins and you will be forgiven.
